A slapstick film intended to re-create the style of the films of Laurel and Hardy, (though it also has the feel of the Hope and Crosby Road films). It doesn't really come off, maybe because we can't accept the implausibilities of that kind of scenario in the present day.
Two out of work actors (Oliver Platt and Stanley Tucci) accidentally stow away on a cruise ship, and numerous impersonation incidents follow, not many of them justified by the plot. Oliver Platt dresses for an extended period at the end of the film. As far as I can tell it really is just coincidence that their first names are Oliver and Stanley respectively.
