The Impersonator (1960, UK)

A poor B-film; not difficult to see why the cinema couldn't retain its audience against the television, if this is the sort of stuff they put out. Even the characterisations seem like something out of the 1930's.

An actor who plays pantomime dame turns out to be the mystery attacker of women in the local park; there's an unmasking on stage and a brief chase through the theatre. It's this kind of linkage that gets the transgendered a bad name.
