I Like It Like That (1994)

Alexis has lost control of a boob A "relationships" film set in the Bronx. It's a complex and entertaining plot of human weaknesses, mirroring the life of the up and coming black female producer Darnell Martin.

Lisette Linares (Lauren Vélez) and her husband Chino (Jon Seda) are getting on all right, until there is a smash and grab raid at the local off licence (liquor store). Chino takes advantage of the break-in and it's him who gets jailed. Raising even a small amount of bail money proves difficult.

Lisette's brother Alexis (Jesse Borrego) is a transsexual saving up for the operation, and she gets pestered to hand over some of the savings for the purpose. In the picture she has lost control of a false breast; she reaches inside her top and puts it back inside the bra.


Asking for the boobs back Lisette decides to go for a job in the media, but her shortcoming has always been a rather flat chest; so she goes for the interview with Alexis's borrowed falsies. When she gets the job, she keeps the boobs, to Alexis's annoyance. Alexis goes to the office where Lisette is working and demands their return.
