This is a German made adaptation of an Edgar Wallace story and deals with a group of masked vigilantes who hang murderers whom the law hasn't been able to convict. One of the characters in the film is a writer for a crime mag who wants to help Scotland Yard and who claims to be a master of disguise. He is played by Charles Howland. Sure enough in one part of the film he turns up disguised as a blonde prostitute.

In the still, he has fooled his own boss when he pretended to proposition him as a prostitute.
