High School High (1996)

Clark's mother is glad to ses his success
Low grade comedy about a teacher who volunteers to go and teach in a sink school in a violent district. Needless to say he eventually makes good, and all the no-hopers graduate.

At the end of the film, Clark is on the dais and gets an award; he makes a brief speech, and we cut to the audience. A woman approvingly says, "That's my boy!" An older woman sitting next to her taps her arm and says, "No, that's my boy!"

We see that the older woman looks remarkably like Clark; in fact she is played by the same actor, Jon Lovitz.
