Harvest (1993)

An unconvincing transvestite Our hero is a writer and he is sent to Mexico to develop a story that can be used to wrap up a film presently in production. He soon gets involved in the seamy side of things there, but when he wakes up on a makeshift operating table, he makes a run for it, but collapses on a golf course. When he comes round a doctor tells him he has had a kidney removed. The film is atmospheric and convincing, but rather slow to develop.

When our hero visits a bar, we very briefly see George Clooney as an unconvincing transvestite doing the worst lip-synching you have ever seen.
