An epic film about a man, Senapati, who dedicates his life to killing corrupt government officials in India. He was a freedom fighter against the British before Indian independence, and learnt an Indian martial art form, which he now uses against bribe-takers and other oppressors of the people.
Chandru is a young man in the Government Road Traffic Office and he is hoping for promotion to a level where he can make a living on the bribes he makes. He’s in love with Aishu, but he does not hesitate to flirt with the more racy Sapna.
Chandru is hanging around at the house of Sapna’s father, supposedly helping a friend to clean the swimming pool filter system, but in fact letting the friend do all the work.
Aishu arrives by chance. Chandru is holding a petticoat belonging to Sapna, and Aishu demands to know whose it is. In a lame attempt to cover himself, he puts it on, explaining that it is a good way to keep cool.
There is also some morphing at a marriage sequence about a third of the way through the film, but it merely shows a sequence of characters, with no implication that any of them assume another’s personality.
The film is also known as Indian.
