Hercules (1983, Italy)

Italy has produced an enormous number of serious films based on mythology and graeco-roman history; but this film is an oddball, portraying a sort of Xena Warrior Princess meets Barabarella image.

The gods play a significant role in shaping Hercules' destiny, and Daedalus is in there. Although Daedalus was a man, father of Icharus, the role is played by Eva Robins as a female god throughout, and so it doesn't really count as transgender.
