A holiday escapism film set in an Austrian lakeside location. The eccentric hotel has a resident band, but the drummer has broken his arm just before the season started. He persuaded his sister Bibi to take his place, but the management insist on an all-male band. So she has arrived pretending to be him, but fooling no-one. The other band members don't challenge her outright, but try to find out where she is staying, with comic results.
Near the end the male band members make it up to her to apologise, and dress in crepe paper drag; Bibi, still dressed as a boy is second from the right.
Bizarrely, this tame family comedy film is also known as 00-Sex am Wolfgangsee, a reference to a bumbling hotel porter who has read too many James Bond novels and refers to himself as 006, "00-Sechs" in German. The film is also known as Happy End am Attersee.
Don't confuse this with Happy-End am Wörthersee which is a quite different film.
