Le gendarme en balade (1970, France)

In disguise as hippies
Louis de Funès made a series of films in which he was the inept commander of an ineptly staffed police unit in St Tropez. In this edition, he and many of his men have retired, but they are all bored with retired life, so they decide on a sort of reunion, in which they put on their old uniforms and enforce the law where they think their successors are too lax.

A hippy community is indulging in nude bathing and obviously that has to be stamped out; to infiltrate the hippies' commune, the fake policemen now dress up as fake hippies; the second and third from the left (pic) presumably as females, although this is not made clear in the dialogue or the action.
