There is a point where the main characters pick up a couple girls and start necking (snogging, kissing, whatever one cares to call it) in the back seat of a car. Their hands begin to wander (these guys are, after all, teenaged young men), and it is then that they realize their new-found companions aren't the buxom beauties that they appear to be. The down side is that the reaction from the main characters isn't the best, as they resort to working their way through a bottle of mouth wash while they try to forget their experience.
The film was released in 1982, and it has been at least ten years since I saw it last, but this scene stuck out in my mind.
