Goodbye Gemini (1970, UK)

Myra and Audrey
A Swinging London film made at the end of the 1960s that just comes over as embarrassing nowadays. Jacki and Julian are brother-and-sister twins, just a little more affectionate than they ought to be. They seem to have plenty of money, and they are also extremely naive and vulnerable, and yet capable of seriously malicious acts. When they move into the Chelsea scene, a petty criminal who is heavily indebted to a gangster sees an opportunity to get some money out of the twins, and heavy psychodrama follows.

As part of his machinations, he introduces Julian to two girls, Myra and Audrey, played by Rocky Renee and Barry Scott. We have already seen Myra doing a drag act in a pub at the beginning of the film, involving a very improbable dance on a bar counter followed by a tame (and incomplete) strip. However Julian is apparently not very observant and starts to grope Myra until suddenly he realises the horrid truth. At that moment both Myra and Audrey lose their make-up and suddenly sprout heavy beard shadow; poor Julian -- he just wants to die.

The film is also known as Twinsanity.
