The Godson (1998)

Guppy does a twirl A comic spoof of The Godfather, this film has been widely condemned as awful. Well, it's not the wittiest comedy ever, but I didn't think it was too bad.

Guppy (Kevin McDonald) is a wimpish junior member of a family of gangsters, but he gets a makeover and takes charge. The makeover involves getting a new set of clothes, and we see him at the tailor trying various outfits on, including this one.


The sex chat headquarters One of his schemes is to set up a sex chat line; but he made a mistake in setting up the telephones as 800 numbers (free calls) instead of 900 (premium rates). Family members take the calls, including the muscle man Bugsy (Lou Ferrigno), who has become Alice temporarily.


Julie the pole dancer Our accident-prone hero goes to a sex club where there is pole dancing, but he gets the wrong address, and this dancer, Julie (Greg Webb), is the entertainment.
