Due to a mix-up in the hospital, a man has a gender re-assignment operation by mistake.
Chris (Oliver Petszokat) is a macho young man, and he lives with his friend Mike (Oliver Wnuk) and his girlfriend Tina (Mina Tander). Tina wants to get married, but Chris isn't going along with that.
One day Chris has to go into hospital for a minor operation on his knee. But a surgeon who works in the same hospital is involved in a car accident and has to ask a colleague, Dr Fahlmann (Dietrich Mattausch) to perform the operation. Melody (Katja Riemann) is in the same hospital for a sex change operation, but on the way to the operating theatre, the orderlies mix the patients up, so that Chris gets the sex change.
