An interesting situation comedy. Kate is breaking up with Rob and simultaneously Dave is breaking up with his wife too.
Kate is a frustrated romantic writer of romantic novels, and Dave is a raunchy used car dealer. Utterly incompatible. Unlikely though Kate and Dave are as a couple, they eventually pair up by force of necessity.
Much more amusing than it sounds, starting at the car crash in the first few minutes. At one stage Kate bursts into the house where her ex is living and discovers him having better sex than he did with her, here tied to the bed (pic). My only objection to it is how so many people living in West Yorkshire have Thames Estuary accents.
The plot and characters develop well, and there is an interesting twist towards the end. The title refers to their respectively preferred names for their future baby.
Recommended film.
