Ernest Scared Stupid (1991)

Ernest is a refuse collector and he aims to be the most innovative. Unfortunately he digs up, and releases, an evil troll that was put to rest three hundred years ago, and Ernest creates mayhem trying to recapture the evil spirit. It's all pretty basic kids' stuff.

As part of the slapstick humour, Jim Varney, who plays Ernest, also portrays a crabby old woman.
