Elizabeth (1998)

A film about Queen Elizabeth I of England, making a good attempt to bring some feeling of historical period to the film; there are several interesting choices of actor too.

The French Duc d'Anjou (Vincent Cassell) is wooing Queen Elizabeth of England. However he gets diverted to a gay orgy, where he dresses in female costume. The Queen (the real one) discovers this and finds it amusing, fortunately.

A highly recommended film.
