Donna Leon: Venezianische Scharade (2000, Germany)

The body in the dump Donna Leon wrote a series off crime novels and they have led to a television series. They make no claim to be great films, but they are popular undemanding entertainment.

An abattoir worker discovers some red high-heeled shoes in the dump; but they are attached to a body wearing underwear and not much else.


A transvestite Investigations indicate that it is a case of murder and the victim was a transvestite hooker. The police need to make enquiries among other hookers to identify the perpetrator. This one (pic) asks to be called "signorina", but they don't get individual credits in the titles.
