Le déclin de l'empire américain (1986)

A film about men's and women's attitudes to relationships and sex, played out with each group talking among themselves and then joining together.

In a short scene one of the characters helps a black African friend with requesting the services of a transvestite prostitute in Montréal. After a lengthy and over-complicated explanation of how shy the friend is and what he wants, the prostitute suggests that she isn't suitable for him, and they leave.

The film has the English title, The Decline of the American Empire.
