Two middle aged women lose their marriages and decide to go it alone with an upmarket catering business. A transvestite (Georges Haider, played by Karl Markovics in his only trans role) lives next door and is on speaking terms with them; one day he comes in unannounced aand asks their advice about his appearance; well, I would have suggested that a shave would have been a good idea, but they sniggeringly suggest that the coral necklace is a bit too flashy, and that some pearls would be better. He retreats to his own flat and the two women burst out in hilarious mocking laughter.
He comes back shortly and is invited to take a glass of wine with them, which he does. Suddenly he removes his wig, revealing a bald head, saying, "I hope you don't mind if I do that?" There seems to be some obsession among disrespectful filmmakers to have transvestites remove their wigs; I think it is in bad taste.
