Die Mommy, Die (2003)

Busch in role
Charles Busch plays Angela Arden, a faded singer in an overblown melodrama, reminiscent of some of Bette Davis films. The overblown dialogue and stilted acting are amusing for a while, but they get irritating as time goes on, as it becomes obvious the plot is nothing more substantial than a 30 minute soap scenario.

Busch plays the leading lady absolutely straight, but he is a bit broad in the chin and the shoulders to let you forget that it is a man in drag.
