Dead Man (1995)

Dressed as a Western Woman in the camp Strange and aimless film in monochrome with a narration; it's still difficult to follow. Johnny Depp's character, William Blake, goes to a Western town as a prospective company accountant, and gets swept into all sorts of wild west business instead.

Blake and a companion come across a group of men sitting round a camp fire late at night. One of them, Salvatore, is wearing a dress for reasons that I couldn't work out. He is referred to by his travelling companion as Sally, short for Salvatore. Iggy Pop plays this character.
