Corazones de mujer (2007, Italy)
A pre-operative Moroccan transsexual dressmaker in Italy takes a client to Casablanca for a minor operation to "restore" her virginity. The flamboyant tailor Shakira (Aziz Ahmeri) offers to help Zina (Ghizlaine Waldi) hide her lost virginity from her tradition-bound family and fiancee. Together they drive from Turin to Morocco, where Shakira dons men's clothing, reconnects with his young son (Mohammed Wajid) and helps Zina discover the meaning of free self-expression as she overcomes jealousies and expectations.
The film is also known as Woman's Hearts (sic).
