The film is an action-packed race across America; despite the lack of any plot or any direction, it was a big box-office success. There is a moral there somewhere. Numerous teams compete, and each has its own tactics to evade the attention of the police, as illegal speeding is essential to win.
Two men decide to attempt it on a motorcycle, and they agree that one of them, Shakey Finch (played by Warren Berlinger) will wear a wig so that they can pose as a honeymooning couple. Pretty convincing, don't you think?
