Carry On Up the Khyber (1968, UK)

The boys have dressed as dancing girls
Roy Castle, Charles Hawtrey, Terry Scott and Peter Butterworth are dressed as Indian dancing girls as the only way to escape the Khazi, in a scenario at the North West Frontier of British India in the nineteenth century.

The Carry On films were made on low budgets and not surprisingly the Indian landscape looks rather like Snowdonia (Wales).
