Carry On Spying (1964, UK)

In a spy spoof with overtones of The Third Man, Jim Dale has to make contact with Charles Hawtrey without drawing attention to himself; two outstanding performances by Dale.

The setup looks very dated nowadays, but although this was never the best of the series, it was popular in its day.

Later, the scene has shifted from Vienna to North Africa, and Bernard Cribbins does a harem girl duet with Barbara Windsor.
