Carry On ... Follow that Camel (1967)

Simpson is briefed on his mission
A French Foreign Legion version of the Carry On genre. Jim Dale plays a disgraced gentleman, Bertram Oliphant West, (or "Bo West", you see -- like "Beau Geste") who joins the French Foreign Legion, taking his manservant Simpson (Peter Butterworth) with him.

At one stage, Simpson has to distract an Arab prince as part of the action, and does so dressed as a rather stout harem dancer.

The films was actually released as Follow that Camel (without the Carry On, as it were), and was also known as Carry On In the Legion and Carry On Up the Legion.
