Diane Keaton plays a mother with three daughters; anxious that one of them will not form an unwise relationship, Keaton's character interviews a selection of young men for suitability. One of them turns out to be a transvestite, played by Willam Belli (credited in the titles as "transsexual").
She is trying a word-association test on them; "If I say 'marriage', then what do you say?" Belli's character says "Vera Wang" -- the name of an expensive society dress designer.
The appearance is very brief indeed, in an uninspired film.
