The scene of the action is a hotel adjacent to Bugis Street, in the Singapore red light district. It is aptly named the "Sin Sin Hotel". In a longish introduction sequence, we see a lot of customers and a lot of girls partying, and the girls introduce themselves, speaking to camera. All of them are transsexuals.
Lian (played by Hiep Thi Le) is a 17 year old girl and innocent at that; but she has been sent from Malacca to work as a maid at the hotel; her innocence is swiftly changed as she looks after the working girls.
The girls continue to tell us about themselves and there isn't much else in the plot.
Soem of the quotes are interesting: "I've always admired Sophia Loren's big tits; so I started to save up so that I could have a pair of big tits like her. So I went to the doctor, the clinic. I just ordered the biggest tits they had; after I returned home my friends saw me; and they said "Wow, what beautiful papayas you got there, very sexy."
The Cantonese (or Mandarin?) title is Yao jie huang hou.
