Boys Don't Cry (1999)

True life tragic story of Brandon Teena, (played by Hilary Swank,) a Female to Male transsexual brought up in a hick town in the USA. It follows the same events as "The Brandon Teena Story" but as a drama, which makes it more watchable. Brandon developed a relationship with a girlfriend, and the issue of sexual relations is handled in the film.

But Brandon's life was not easy, and it ended tragically, so there's no happy ending.

The film has also been distributed as Take It Like A Man.
