Beyond the Valley of the Dolls (1970)

An unlikely Superwoman A film based entirely on 1960's culture, in which it is cool to be permanently stoned and to do crazy things. Nearly all of the action is based at a party, which reminded me strongly of Rowan and Martin's Laugh-In, a ground-breaking comedy show of the era, now long forgotten.

John Lazar, playing Ronnie Barzell, indulges in some dressing-up games towards the end of the film; he insists that he is Superwoman.
