A scary psychodrama based on a murderer now in a secure mental institution; but he has supernatural powers of some kind and he keeps on appearing outside the institution creating mayhem. He seems to manifest himself in other people's bodies, but we are never really sure whether it is a dream, or whether the person is in some way controlled to behave erratically. I couldn't find anything in this film that justifies a transgender label.
The film is also known as Nightscare.
