The Best Pair of Legs in the Business (1972)

Varney in role on stage Reg Varney plays a seedy entertainer Sherry Sheridan at a seedy holiday caravan site. The site owner is secretly carrying on with his wife. Their son is at a posh school, and when he comes home he announces that he is going to marry a girl who is a vicar's daughter. They all go to tea with the vicar and Sherry makes an idiot of himself.


Varney in role on stage Part of his act is drag; but the whole thing is a pretty depressing performance, really.
