Belle al Bar (Italy 1994)
Odd Italian comedy; square and methodical hero Leo (Alessandro Benvenuti) faces his mid-life crisis and moves from Rome to Florence. He falls in love with Giulia (Eva Robins) who mysteriously knows details of his life that he himself has almost forgotten. It emerges that Giulia used to be his cousin Giulio, and has now had a sex change. He moves into her house, and gets used to her bohemian lifestyle. They live happily ever after.
Eva Robins was also in "Mascara". But she is a woman playing a male-to-female transsexual.
