Bedazzled (1967, UK)

Cook and Moore as nuns Very strange comedy by Peter Cook and Dudley Moore; Cook and Moore projected a rather intellectual and introspective style of English humour, that was not universally popular.

Moore's character is rather a loser but he gets six wishes from Cook, who is the Devil. He uses these in vain to try to win the heart of the woman he loves, played by Eleanor Bron. At one stage he specifies that he wants to meet her in tranquil, spiritual surroundings, with no men around. Cook transforms him into a nun, in a convent. Cook (left in pic) comes to visit him, in an extended sequence.
