Barnum (1986)

Tom Thumb in action as Napoleon Burt Lancaster plays P T Barnum in a made-for-television film about the circus impresario's life. Most of it is narrated to camera by Lancaster, and it was a long time before Barnum actually made the transition from stage to circus.

The actress Patty Maloney plays the man of restricted growth who used the stage name Tom Thumb; this occupies a good ten minutes of the film. Here he is rehearsing for a stage spot as Napoleon.
