Bad Boy Bubby (1993)

Disturbing and difficult film about a thirty year old man who has never been let outside his mother's house, ever. Eventually Bubby escapes, after killing his mother and father, and the main theme of the film explores how he copes in the outside world, which he has never seen before. It's all filmed in a slightly surreal way, which made the film more difficult still.

Early on, he mimics the way his mother disciplines him, by wearing her clothes and disciplining the cat. This part of the film is shot in the slate blue colour for atmosphere.
