Die Abenteuer des Grafen Bobby (1961, Austria)

A rather slapstick comedy by Peter Alexander, who made his name in this kind of lightweight material after World War 2.

In this film he is Bobby, the only son of a widowed countess, and they have no money to pay the bills. When it transpires that a young American heiress, Mary Piper, is going to be in the area, the possibility of marriage to settle the money problems arises. But a respectable lady is needed as a chaperon, and only Bobby can carry out that role.

Alexander spends much of the film in the female role.
