Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves (1944)

Abdullah has overdone the disguise An action film following the tale of how Ali Baba rescued Baghdad from the Mongols. This one has weathered the passing years better than some other action adventures of its era.

When it emerges that the Mongols plan to marry off the Princess Amara, Ali Baba determines to go to the city and rescue her. Naturally the band of "thieves" -- nowadays I suppose we would say freedom fighters -- will go with him, disguised as wedding guests. "Children of camels, offspring of donkeys, paint your foolish faces -- dress your ugly bodies to deceive the mongols! This time we enter the palace!"

Abdullah (pic) took the part about painting your face to mean go in female disguise, although he hasn't thought of his facial hair.
