Une affaire privée (2002, France)

A rather downbeat and cynical private eye, François Maniéri (Thierry Lhermitte) is induced to look for a missing young woman. Predictably he discovers that she was leading a secret double life.

This person, a transvestite in the night bar, played by Frédéric Diefenthal, gives him some information.
