Abbott and Costello Meet the Killer (1949)

Costello dressed as a chambermaid Bud Abbott and Lou Costello performed in a number of films as vehicles for their own brand of slapstick; Abbott was a hard-talking straight man and Costello was a lovable fool. The humour does not translate well to the present day, and just seems childishly daft now.

Abbott and Costello are in a hotel, and Costello dresses as a chambermaid for disguise; not the most attractive female disguise ever.
