The Adventures of Baron Munchausen (1989)

Albrecht feels for his feminine side In German speaking countries, Baron Munchausen is a byword for someone who tells impossibly tall stories; this is based on a real historical character.

At one stage in the film, the Baron has lost his gigantic strongman Albrecht (Winston Dennis). Munchausen enters the dwelling of the Cyclopses, and to his surprise Albrecht comes in with the petits fours; he is ironically introduced as "my midget".

Asked by Munchausen to come with him to fight the Turks, Albrecht replies:

"Oh no ... I couldn't do that ... no ... not since I've found myself ... no, now, I really know, I never really wanted to be 'big' and 'strong', and lug heavy things about ... no ... and now I know I want to be 'dainty' and 'sensitive' .. they call me the midget down here ... it's bliss."
