50 Greatest Magic Tricks (2002, UK)

Adam at the beginning of the film A compilation film of magic tricks, with no pretensions to incisive analysis. The clips, all (I think) from material already broadcast, is linked by Joe (Cornish), dressed as a magician, and Adam (Buxton, pic) dressed in a sequin costume. As well as the actual magic acts there are supportive remarks from other magicians and media personalities. Joe and Adam appear throughout the film.


Fay Presto at work One of the acts shown is by Fay Presto, a UK professional skilled in close-up work; Fay is also a transgender woman, particularly feminine in appearance and voice.
