200 Motels (1971)

Keith Moon is a near-suicidal nun
A daft and chaotic film about Frank Zappa, played by Ringo Starr. If there's a plot at all, it is about the musicians going from place to place for gigs -- and staying in the motels in the title -- and partying when they are not on stage. There is a lot of sub-psychedelic imagery which hasn't really lasted well. Keith Moon dresses as a rather depressed nun, with Janet Ferguson comforting him.

Just men in frocks
Some of the partying involved dressing up in silly clothes, without any attempt at femininity.
