In twelve hours overnight, the city of San Juan is the focus of several simultaneous series of events. A taxi-driver's working day; a youth who wants to lose his virginity; a gigolo; a television reporter; three girls looking for boys. 12 horas tells the story of these characters as the night progresses.
The sound track includes the music of several genres of Puerto Rican performers: Spanish rock music, pop and reggae, hip-hop, trance and drum n' bass. It includes the music of Millo Torres and the Terver Planeta, Vialterna, Isism, The Freedom Sounds, Slimy Nuggetz, Idalé and others.
